Bologna defender Giancarlo Gonzalez is reportedly on his way back to MLS with a move to the LA Galaxy, claim Sky Sport Italia.

The Costa Rica international had already played in America for Columbus Crew in 2014.

His €3.8m transfer to Palermo that summer made him the most expensive ever player to leave Major League Soccer.

‘Pipo’ Gonzalez moved to Bologna in 2017 and is under contract through to June 2020.

However, it’s reported the 31-year-old has agreed a switch back to America for the LA Galaxy.
