Palermo defender Giancarlo Gonzalez is on his way towards Spartak Moscow for around €4m.
According to Sky Sport Italia, the Costa Rica international is on the verge of completing his transfer to the Russian club.
The 28-year-old centre-back joined Palermo from Columbus Crew for approximately €3.8m in August 2014.
He has two goals in 51 senior caps for Costa Rica.
