It is reported that the next 72 hours will be decisive to Gustavo Gomez’s chances of joining Boca Juniors from Milan.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, the Paraguayan has already agreed personal terms with the Argentine club as he looks to seal a return to South America.

However, the Italian daily claims Boca have still yet to convince the Rossoneri to allow the 24-year-old to leave the San Siro.

The offer for Gomez is said to be an initial 18-month loan deal, with the option to then sign him permanently for a fee of €5m.
