Atalanta captain Papu Gomez offers his “sincerest apologies” to Milan’s Lucas Biglia – “I never meant to hurt him”.
The Argentinian international kneed his compatriot in the back during yesterday’s match between the two sides, with the midfielder having to go off injured.
“My sincerest apologies to Lucas Biglia,” Gomez wrote on his Instagram account.
“I wish him a speedy recovery, I never meant to hurt him. I’m very sorry for what happened.”
