The 71-year-old, who also played for the Viola, added that in his opinion neither team were favourites for the match.
“Fiorentina will be missing Cuadrado and Rossi. I hope that Higuain is fit, because we need there to be a spectacle.
“Napoli have had a great season despite having completely changed the team from last year. Unfortunately though they have lost points against some of the smaller teams.
“This final represents a golden chance for Benitez. Neither team will start as favourites. The emotions of being in a final give will give energy to everyone.”
