Napoli director Cristiano Giuntoli assures they ‘analysed the errors’ from their Europa League defeat to Spartak Moscow and will take a different attitude against Fiorentina.
It kicks off at 17.00 UK time (16.00 GMT).
Although they have a 100 per cent record in Serie A after six rounds, the Partenopei were beaten at home by Spartak Moscow on Thursday, with Mario Rui sent off in the opening half-hour.
“The team tried to analyse the errors made, as we do after every game, we have to look at the negative and positive aspects,” Giuntoli told DAZN.
“A negative incident changed the game and it affected us, but we intend to get right back on track and today face an important obstacle in our path in the form of Fiorentina.”
Lorenzo Insigne continues to captain the squad, despite the fact his contract is due to expire at the end of the season.
“Lorenzo and the club are focused on what’s happening on the pitch. We are talking to his agent, both thinking about what is best for Napoli, so there is no tension.”
This is a battle between two of the most exciting young hitmen in Serie A, Victor Osimhen and Dusan Vlahovic.
“It’s always wonderful to see two great strikers, but these are above all two great teams who are going through very strong periods of form.
“This will be a very important match for our campaign.”
Siamo fiduciosi”https://t.co/cMTcYu8WnS
