Napoli left-back Faouzi Ghoulam could be sidelined for a year, as per previous cases of fractured kneecaps.
Although the extent of Ghoulam’s injury has not yet been confirmed by Napoli, Sport Mediaset has compared it to those suffered by Michael Krohn-Dehli and Daniele Capelli.
Krohn-Dehli missed the entirety of Sevilla’s 2016-17 season with a patella fracture, while Capelli spent the majority of 2012 out with the problem.
