Werder Bremen and Wolfsburg have reportedly joined the queue of clubs interested in Giampaolo Pazzini of Sampdoria.

The 26-year-old is one of the hottest strikers in Italian football right now and the German duo are the latest clubs linked with his signature.

Pazzini, who netted a hat-trick in the 3-2 win over Lecce last weekend, is contracted to Doria until 2013 but he's eager to play at the highest levels.

Valued at around €18m, the Italian international is also believed to be wanted by Italian giants Juventus.

But the interest doesn't stop there, with English duo Chelsea and Manchester City also admirers of Pazzo.

Pazzini, the second highest paid player at Marassi thanks to his €1.5m a year deal, will be looking for a wage increase of at least 25 per cent were he to move on.

Wolfsburg have turned their attention to Pazzini as they are expected to lose Edin Dzeko in the summer with a move to Bayern Munich or Manchester City possible.
