Genoa keep Juraj Kucka and loan out Dario Dainelli, whilst the Grifone’s Felipe Seymour is one of three players signed on loan by Catania on deadline day.

Testing the water today for replacements for the departing Thiago Motta, it is reported that Inter came in with a €5m bid to take Genoa midfielder Kucka to San Siro.

However, Enrico Preziosi rejected the reported offer and, in keeping the Slovakian at Marassi, has instead opted to send Chilean midfielder Felipe Seymour out on loan to Catania.

However, Enrico Preziosi rejected the reported offer and, in keeping the Slovakian at Marassi, has instead opted to send Chilean midfielder Felipe Seymour out on loan to Catania.

The 24-year-old only joined Genoa last summer and despite making 13 appearances this season, was deemed surplus to immediate first-team requirements under latest Coach Pasquale Marino.

Former Fiorentina defender Dario Dainelli was also judged not to have a short-term future with the club and has been pushed out to Chievo on loan.

Meanwhile, Seymour is joined at Catania by Torino striker Osarimen Ebagua and Lazio goalkeeper Juan Pablo Carrizo, who both also signed for Gli Elefanti today on loan. Carrizo is a short-term replacement for Mariano Andujar, who returned to Argentina temporarily after a row with sporting director Pietro Lo Monaco.
