Inter have confirmed that they have sold midfielder Thiago Motta to Paris Saint-Germain on the final day of the winter transfer window.

The San Siro side’s verification of the sale follows PSG’s earlier announcement on their site that they would be unveiling Motta in a Press conference on Wednesday.

The 29-year-old, who Inter Coach Claudio Ranieri was keen to keep, is believed to have signed a three-and-a-half-year deal on a €2m salary, whilst Massimo Moratti collects €10m for his transfer.

The Nerazzurri have already made moves to replace the Italian international, signing Fredy Guarin and Angelo Palombo today.
