Genoa’s director general Giorgio Perinetti confirms talks with Juventus for Mattia Perin, and would gladly take Stefano Sturaro.

It’s no secret that the Bianconeri are interested in the goalkeeper, with general manager Giuseppe Marotta reiterating as much this afternoon.

It’s thought the Old Lady will try to lower the cost by including Sturaro in the deal, and it appears the Grifone are open to that.

“Juventus have made it known that they’re interested in him,” Perinetti told TeleNord.

“There’s still a way to go though, and time to talk about it. We need to get the TV rights sorted first, which concerns every club.

“We’ve promised to see each other and talk about it as soon as possible, because they’re the club which moved first and we have an excellent relationship with them.

“As for Sturaro, he’s a player who has proved his worth, so much so that [Juve Coach Max] Allegri didn’t want to let him go last season.

“If Juventus offered him up then personally I’d gladly take him, but these are premature situations.”
