Genoa insist ‘there is no need’ to sack Ivan Juric right now but warn ‘we have two very important games coming up and we can’t mess them up’.

Juric remains without a victory in eight games after Sunday’s 2-1 defeat to Torino, despite predecessor Davide Ballardini winning four of his seven Serie A matches in charge.

“We thought about it and decided there was no need to shake things up,” sporting director Giorgio Perinetti told Il Secolo XIX.
