There are reports that former Lazio star Paul Gascoigne could be taking part in Italian reality TV show L’Isola dei Famosi.

It is an Italian version of I’m A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here, but combined with The Island.

A group of celebrities are dropped on a deserted island in the Caribbean with only small rations of rice and minimal items, so they must build their own shelter, keep a fire from going out and forage for most of their food.

There are also weekly challenges to win luxuries such as more food, a day in a hotel or extra matches.

Unlike I’m A Celeb, the process lasts several months rather than a couple of weeks.

According to TvBlog, the producers of the Canale 5 show are in advanced talks with Gazza, but haven’t yet locked down his participation.
