A report stated that only Napoli had paid their wages in full on time so far this season in Serie A.

However, Lazio then surprised by not only paying on time, but even sending out the February and March salaries early.

“I did it to send a signal,” President Lotito told news agency Ansa.

Meanwhile, the Corriere dello Sport claims Inter have already met with the squad to ask for permission to delay the payment of November and December wages until the end of May.

They only paid the outstanding July and August 2020 salaries with money provided on Thursday.
