It kicks off on Sunday at 19.45 GMT.

Gattuso spent most of his career at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza, both as player and coach.

He amassed 11 goals in 468 competitive appearances in the Rossoneri jersey from 1999 to 2012, retiring in 2013 after a spell as player-manager of Swiss side FC Sion.

Part of a legendary midfield, Gattuso won two Champions League trophies, two Serie A titles, two Italian Supercups, the Coppa Italia and the Intercontinental Cup.

Rino then became coach of the Primavera youth team from July to November 2017, before he was promoted to the main job as replacement for sacked Sinisa Mihajlovic.

He had 82 games as their senior tactician, with 40 victories, 22 draws and 20 defeats.

Since taking over at Napoli, Gattuso has faced Milan twice, both times at the Stadio San Paolo.

There was a thrilling 2-2 draw in July 2020, then a 3-1 Milan victory in November that same year.

This will therefore be his first match at San Siro as an opposition coach, but sadly there will be no fans to welcome him home.
