“Dear friends, with your best wishes, you’ve touched me,” he said in a video message.
“I’ve been inundated by messages from you fans. Thank you because you were there when I was a player, and I’ve found you all again as a Coach.
“Thanks to my family, lifelong friends and all those who remembered me. I also want to thank my old teammates for the video they did for me…
“Lastly, what can I say. I read Carlo’s letter. There wasn’t just one soul in that Milan side, but many of them, ready to overcome their limits.
“We left Istanbul with you and got to Athens for you. This will remain an unforgettable birthday for me. With love, your Rino.”
THANK YOU!
