Milan legend Gennaro Gattuso believes new Inter signing Gary Medel will be a big hit in Serie A.
The Chilean midfielder has joined the Nerazzurri from Cardiff City and, speaking to Chilean outlet La Tercera, Gattuso expressed his belief that the player has proven his worth.
“Gary has a character that could be very well suited to Italian football,” he said. “He is a midfielder who could be very important for Inter, he is very intelligent.
“Comparisons with me? I hope for him that he has my temperament!
“He has shown his worth over the last few years, but above all at the last World Cup. He showed all his defensive capability and didn’t get confused taking on the top players.”
