Vincenzo Montella was fired on Monday and Gattuso confirmed in today’s Press conference that he has a “completely different methodology” to his predecessor, but would be retaining the three-man defence.

According to Sky Sport Italia, Gattuso will make only two changes from the XI that started last week’s 0-0 draw with Torino.

Mateo Musacchio returns to the right side of the defence rather than Cristian Zapata, with Fabio Borini returning from an ankle injury to replace Ignazio Abate.

The shape of the side is slightly different, as Suso and Jack Bonaventura take wider roles.

Lucas Biglia missed the Torino match with flu symptoms, but despite recovering, he is again snubbed for Riccardo Montolivo due to poor fitness levels.

Andre Silva is on the bench yet again in Serie A, as Kalinic hopes to win over the Rossoneri fans.

Milan (probable): G Donnarumma; Musacchio, Bonucci, Romagnoli; Borini, Montolivo, Kessie, Rodriguez; Suso, Kalinic, Bonaventura
