The 54-year-old succeeded Giuseppe Sannino at the Rosanero six weeks' ago, and has conceded that, after a poor start, he has settled in at the Renzo Barbera.
“Our position in the League is still bad [19th], but you have to look at the reality of things,” he told a Press conference. “We had a difficult start to the season, but we are started to grow as a team.
“There are only a few little things that we have to change, and we have to make the most of what there is here.”
He then commented on some of the individual performances this season, and praised the work of defener Ezequiel Munoz.
“I'm very pleased with the defensive side of our game,” he said. “Munoz is doing very well, as is Massimo Donati and Steve von Bergen.
“Josip Ilicic is also playing well. I haven't asked him to score us 20 goals this year – he only needs six or seven and can contribute with as many assists.”
