And the Coach has revealed that he wants to stay at Stadio Olimpico for a long time.
“I knew almost nothing about the club,” he told reporters at the launch of Tutte le Strade Portano a Roma.

“I knew almost nothing about the club,” he told reporters at the launch of Tutte le Strade Portano a Roma.
“The only thing I knew before coming here is that it was a great club. I visited the city three of four years ago and I saw this beautiful city.
“And when the chance arose to come here I just thought it would be nice to work in Rome.
“I’ve been working here as if it were my last club, but I’ve also done that in my other jobs. In football it is always difficult to predict things because the game is based on results.
“We’ve done some great thing this year, but we have an ambitious project. We want to be one of the biggest clubs in Europe. It’ll be tough, but Rome wasn’t built in a day!”
The Frenchman then commented on the Roma fans, and how they have affected him in his first season.
“They are one of the most beautiful fans in Europe. Our goal was to restore pride, and I think we’ve managed to do that.
“It’s one of my biggest pleasures – giving the joy back to the fans.”
