“Getting two wins in a row in difficult circumstances showed the team we are on the right track,” said the Coach in his Press conference.

“If we give our all, then eventually the results will come to reward them. My men never stopped working. The difference this week was that we were all available, whereas in the past we had to play every three days and then the internationals would go off.

“Until the end of the season we have only one match per week and it’ll be easier to work and prepare for them.”

The trip to Torino is a tricky one, as the Granata are hoping to stay in the race for Europa League qualification.

“They are a good team who are having a fine season and we know it’s not easy to play there. Having said that, our objective does not change. We play to win, as we always have done since I got here.

“It’s true in recent games possession hasn’t been as important, but it’s good to have versatility and we can adapt to win matches. What counts are the performance and the strategy.”

Daniele De Rossi was diagnosed with a micro-fracture to a vertebra in his back, but is ready to play on anyway.

“He’s had that small fracture for three weeks and just has to deal with the pain, as he has done throughout his career. He’ll give his all and I am not worried.”

There have been protests from the Roma fans after elimination from the Champions League, Europa League and Coppa Italia.

This tension was felt by the team and Garcia admits “the results prove it is easier for us to play away from home.

“Having said that, the things that happened between the fans and players are to be seen as a lover’s quarrel. The fans want to see character from the individual players and to give them a sign. There is love between the supporters and the players.”
