The 50-year-old arrived at the Stadio Olimpico last summer and has presided over a remarkable turnaround in the club’s fortunes.
“Garcia has extraordinary qualities,” Sabatini told the Roma Channel.
“He exudes calmness, cohesion and strength and we are all very happy to have brought him here.
“The championship is still open, we want to defend our second position but also continue to attack top spot.”
