Roma Coach Rudi Garcia was reportedly involved in a confrontation with fans after returning from Verona on Sunday.

The Giallorossi drew 1-1 at Stadio Bentegodi, meaning they are now nine points adrift of Juventus in the race for the Scudetto.

The French Coach had previously declared that his side would go on to win Serie A, but a defeat on Monday to the Bianconeri would see Roma 12 points behind, and virtually guarantee the Old Lady another title.

The French Coach had previously declared that his side would go on to win Serie A, but a defeat on Monday to the Bianconeri would see Roma 12 points behind, and virtually guarantee the Old Lady another title.

The Gazzetta dello Sport reports that a group of fans were waiting for the team at Trigoria, the club’s training ground, when the Lupi returned.

The newspaper states that Garcia spoke to the fans, with both parties acting calmly, and assured them that he wants to remain at Roma next season.

Roma Radio corroborates this story, saying that the players also spoke with the fans.
