Paris Saint-Germain coach Christophe Galtier drops a huge hint over Inter defender Milan Skriniar. ‘I can’t say if he will come in this session or over the summer.’

The centre-back has told Inter he will not sign the new contract offer, so is free to consider other alternatives, as his deal is due to expire on June 30.

It is reported he has already given his word to PSG, who had already tried to approach him last summer and saw offers of circa €60m rejected by the Nerazzurri.

Questioned on the situation in his press conference, Galtier did not disguise the behind the scenes agreement with Skriniar.

“I saw the information that was in the papers, but I can’t say if he will come in this session or over the summer,” said the coach.

“I can’t tell you that. The directors are working on it and I have to remain concentrated on the players.”

Skriniar has also been linked with Tottenham Hotspur, Chelsea and more, but PSG were always the runaway favourites to get his signature after their open courtship at the start of the season.

If he is sold in the January transfer window, then Inter can at least avoid losing him as a free agent in July, but would also have very little time to find a suitable replacement.
