“Montella is an excellent Coach and this summer, when he was a free agent, we did consider him. But we are happy with Sinisa Mihajlovic and go forward with him,” Galliani told Mediaset Premium.
“I don’t think the problems can be resolved only with tactics. It depends on the attitude of the players during the game.
“After the victory over Lazio I was very optimistic, then there was this step back against Atalanta and a balanced encounter with Juventus.
“We’ll see what awaits us this evening. We have on paper some simple fixtures coming up, but I don’t feel ready to make any predictions.”
Mihajlovic joked that he left Sampdoria for a more “capricious” partner in Milan, something Galliani did not disagree with.
“Well, capricious women are the most intriguing and interesting. The others are boring. A few tantrums keep your attention.”
