“We deserved to lose against Carpi and our performance in that game was embarrassing. Unfortunately over the last month and a half we dropped far too many points.
“We’ve been missing important players and this is why I say that in January the best ‘buys’ we can get are the return to fitness of Nikola Maksimovic, Danilo Avelar and Joel Obi. They’ve been out basically since the start of the season.
“What are Torino’s objectives? To get the best out of young players, get a few into the national team and consolidate our position. It mustn’t be a surprise to see Toro in the top half of the table.”
