Adriano Galliani says Pippo Inzaghi’s work-rate can make him a top Coach at Milan and ponders what Ronaldo and Ronaldinho could have done with a similar work ethic.
Today is the 115th anniversary of the founding of the Rossoneri, and Galliani has given a lengthy interview to Milan Channel reflecting on the history of the club, but found time to talk about present Coach Inzaghi.
“Pippo is fantastic,” Galliani exclaimed.
“He is proof that by sheer determination and force of will you can achieve anything.

“He became a stellar player thanks to his application, desire and intelligence. I think he’ll do well as a Coach, because he works day and night and studies every opponent in detail.
“He has incredible knowledge, the reason he scored so many goals [in his playing days] is that he knew his opponents’s weaknesses.
“Ronaldo, il Fenomeno, was the opposite of Pippo, as was Ronaldinho. I often wonder what these players could have done if they’d applied themselves like Inzaghi.
“Pippo returned to being great even after injuries, and that’s why I believe that his determination will make him a great Coach.”
