Adriano Galliani has revealed that ex-Milan striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic hasn't spoken to him since joining Paris Saint Germain.

And surprisingly the Rossoneri Vice-President believes Ibrahimovic is right to do so, having went back on a promise made to the the player.

“Ibrahimovic wanted to stay at Milan,” Galliani told France Football.

“At the end of last season he came to me with his agent Mino Raiola and I assured him that he would stay. But the board had some discussions and he was sold.

“Since he went to Paris he doesn't speak to me anymore. He is right though as I didn't keep my word.”

Ibra himself has been quoted in another French sports magazine, this time L'Equipe, where he had some backhanded praise for former teammate Filippo Inzaghi.

“Inzaghi is not a real footballer, but he has a huge killer instinct when he's in front of the goal. That is his strength.”

Inzaghi has recently began coaching in Milan's youth ranks, but is already being linked with the top job as the pressure on Massimiliano Allegri mounts.

The Swede also remarked on former bosses Jose Mourinho and Fabio Capello, and their contrasting styles.

“Capello belongs to the old school. He used to say that for him, the only thing I needed to do was score goals.

“Mourinho instead belongs to a new generation, where you have to play well and score goals. That is the only difference between the two.”
