Adriano Galliani has admitted Udinese striker Antonio Floro Flores “is a valid option” for Milan's January transfer swoop.

The club has confirmed it is looking for a new centre-forward after Pippo Inzaghi's knee injury ruled him out for the rest of the season.

Players such as Cagliari's Alessandro Matri and Real Madrid hitman Karim Benzema have been mentioned, but Galliani hinted at someone closer to home.

“Floro Flores is a very good forward and has quality,” the Vice-President told the Gazzetta dello Sport.
