Galatasaray are keeping tabs on Leonardo Spinazzola and are reportedly planning to open talks should he not pen a new contract with Roma.

The 30-year-old Italian was heavily linked with a move away from the Italian capital in the summer, receiving offers from Saudi Arabia and France, but he decided to stay a part of Jose Mourinho’s squad for the 2023-24 season.

Spinazzola has featured regularly for Roma this term, seeing 756 minutes of action across 11 games, but could be on the way out next year as his current contract expires at the end of the season. He earns around €3m net per season and the club are debating whether to offer him a new deal or not.

As reported by local outlet Sporx via Calciomercato.com, Galatasaray are keeping a close eye on Spinazzola’s situation with Roma and plan to open talks should he not pen a new contract in the Italian capital.

The Turkish side carried out business with the Giallorossi last January, picking up Nicolo Zaniolo after he fell out of favour.
