Turkish giants Galatasaray have joined the list of clubs interested in signing Marco Borriello from Roma during the January transfer window.

The Italian has played in just 221 minutes of Serie A football this season and is understood to be available for transfer.

Borriello was actually put on the market during the summer, but a move away from the Stadio Olimpico failed to materialise.

Borriello, who joined the capital club from Milan in 2010, is currently in competition with Bojan, Fabio Borini, Daniel Osvaldo and Francesco Totti for a first team shirt in the capital.

Paris Saint-Germain are understood to still be monitoring the Italian international closely, while a loan return to Milan has recently been suggested too.
