Genoa centre-forward Andrej Galabinov has left the Bulgaria training camp after sustaining a thigh injury on international duty.
The striker was playing in a 1-0 friendly defeat to Bosnia and won’t be taking part in Monday’s meeting with Kazakhstan.
Tests have confirmed the presence of a tear to the adductor muscle in the right leg.
Further investigation is required, but the 29-year-old is expected to be out of action for at least a couple of weeks.
