The Japanese international spent the second half of last season on loan in Turkey, but no buyout clause was included in the deal.
Representatives for the Istanbul side flew into Milan yesterday to discuss signing the full-back permanently, but Sky Italia reports a deal hasn’t yet been reached.
The Nerazzurri are asking for €4m, while Galatasaray are only currently willing to offer €2m.
