Milan have reportedly rejected an opening bid of €6m from Galatasaray for Turkey midfielder Hakan Calhanoglu.
According to Fanatik, Galatasaray are keen on Calhanoglu [pictured, right] and have revived their interest from last summer.
However, the portal warns their initial offer of €6m was thrown out by Rossoneri directors Paolo Maldini and Zvonimir Boban.
That is because the Rossoneri want to recoup as much as possible of the €22m they spent to sign him from Bayer Leverkusen in 2017.
Furthermore, the 25-year-old would be considered ‘unsellable’ by several personnel at the club.
Despite that, he remains a divisive figure among fans after struggling for consistency during his time with the Diavolo.
