“Honestly, I am not involved in the negotiations,” Gabigol told reporters when asked about his future in the wake of Brazil’s goalless draw with South Africa on Thursday evening.
“Before I came I left everything in the hands of my parents and my agent.
“Obviously I hope it’s decided soon, but I must not rush because the window is still open for a long time.
“Everyone knows I’m a Santos fan, I’m happy there, but right now I’m just thinking about the Olympics.”
