Milan had an exclusive agreement with the club that expired this week, so negotiations are now open to other contenders.

“I can confirm the strong interest from England for Maxi Lopez, and indeed there is a Fulham offer, but we are still evaluating potential developments in Italy,” director Pietro Lo Monaco told Radio Manà Manà.

“Milan are certainly out, while we are waiting to see what happens with regards to Fiorentina” data-scaytid=”37″>Fiorentina. As for Lazio” data-scaytid=”38″>Lazio renewing their interest, I don’t think they need Maxi, as they have a solid squad and have made no intimations to us.”

The Catania transfer chief also commented on reports the Sicilians are ready to take ex-Fulham forward Stefano Okaka from Roma.
