According to Dario AS in Spain, Milan have rejected Chelsea’s late €100m bid for Rafael Leao.

The Portuguese winger has been linked with a move to Stamford Bridge in the last few weeks of the summer transfer window.

According to the Spanish paper, Chelsea saw a late €100m bid rejected by the Rossoneri in the last few hours.

Milan don’t want to part ways with their striker and would only consider a sale for €150m.

That’s as much as his release clause which expired in June.

Leao scored one goal in the opening four Serie A games this season and his contract runs out in June 2024.

Milan directors will hold talks with the player’s agent Jorge Mendes after the end of the summer transfer window, but negotiations are expected to be quite lengthy and difficult for the Serie A giants.

Leao has been ordered to pay circa €16m to his former club Sporting CP for the unilateral termination of the contract in 2018.
