Shakhtar Donetsk Coach Paulo Fonseca expects “a very difficult” game against Roma tomorrow night.

The Ukrainian side beat Napoli in the Group Stage, finishing above the Partenopei to reach the Last 16, but their Coach doesn't think that will have any bearing on the second leg tomorrow.

“They’re not comparable,” Fonseca said in his pre-match Press conference.

“A very difficult match awaits us, because Roma have won five of their last six games and at the Stadio Olimpico they kept clean sheets against Chelsea and Atletico Madrid.

“It’s difficult to pick out one or two players [who are dangerous], because Roma have a very good squad.

“I don’t think they’ll make radical changes, they’ll try to cause us problems right away with a lot of pressing.

“We’ll have to be good defensively to hold up under that.

“The pitch? I’ve seen the condition and I don’t think there’ll be anything, maybe some light rain that won’t change anything.

“Shakhtar are ready to play our game, and if we don’t do that then the credit will go to Roma.

“We’re in good shape, technically and mentally. We’ve got some injuries but that won’t affect the team.”
