Alessandro Florenzi can’t wait to wear the Italy jersey at the Stadio Olimpico against Norway and has “no problem” changing roles.

The Roma man spoke at a Press conference ahead of Tuesday’s final Euro 2016 qualifier.

“Wearing the Nazionale jersey at the Olimpico is going to be a wonderful sensation. The Italy shirt is tattooed on my skin, quite apart from club kit, and that is true of everyone.

“It’ll be an important game for the ranking and we mustn’t let Belgium overtake us.

“Can we win Euro 2016? My motto is take it one game at a time, but in that one game you have to do everything to win.”

Antonio Conte moved their tactics to 4-4-2, which can also be described as 4-2-4, in the 3-1 victory over Azerbaijan.

“This week we tried out the 4-4-2 because we knew from the Coach’s directives that this was the system to cause Azerbaijan the most problems and I think you all saw that it worked.

“We are ready to play with any system, as we have no difficulties following the Coach’s orders.”

Florenzi is now indescribable, as he started out as a midfielder, became a winger in a trident attack and is now regularly used at right-back for Roma.

“My position isn’t a problem. The important thing is to have a specific identity in every role. I see it as being only a bonus and not something that can cause trouble or confusion.”
