Roma midfielder Alessandro Florenzi may not play the return leg against Feyenoord due to a sprained left ankle.

The 23-year-old was subbed off during yesterday's 1-1 draw against Verona, making him a doubt for the Europa League Last 32 tie.

The Giallorossi have today released an official statement confirming his injury.

Florenzi had tests this morning which confirmed that he has a twisted left ankle with minor ligament damage,” read the statement.

“The player has already begun treatment.”
