Mathieu Flamini has admitted that the Scudetto is not at the top of Milan's objectives for this season. "We want the Champions League."

The Rossoneri comfortably won the domestic title last term, but retaining that crown is only a secondary thought at this moment.

"It's obvious that Milan are focused on the Champions League," explained the Frenchman to Milan Channel.

"It's obvious that Milan are focused on the Champions League," explained the Frenchman to Milan Channel.

"It's an important target for the club and the squad. We need to try to get as far as we can in this competition.

"Winning something every year is very important in this game. Last term we won the Scudetto and we need to win again in 2011-12.

"It's vital that we go forward in the right direction."

The midfielder, formerly of Arsenal, is currently sidelined for 15 days with a muscle injury.
