Milan midfielder Mathieu Flamini would welcome Marseille full-back Taye Taiwo if he moves to San Siro as expected this summer.

Earlier this week, L'Équipe claimed Taiwo, whose contract is due to expire at the end of the season, has agreed a three-year deal with Milan.

Flamini came through the ranks at Marseille and rates the club and its players highly.

"He would be a great addition," Flamini told Mediaset. "He is physically strong and gets forward a lot without neglecting the defensive part of the game."
