Inter are reportedly stepping up their interest in Federico Chiesa, but Fiorentina will not budge on the €70m price tag.

The Viola starlet returns to the front pages of Italian newspapers, but the hefty price tag makes it a complicated operation for both the Nerazzurri and Juventus this summer.

The two Italian giants have been linked with the 22-year-old in recent months and Fiorentina President Rocco Commisso has repeatedly claimed he is only willing to let the youngster move for the right price.

La Repubblica claims Commisso stands firm on the set price tag of €70m for his most valuable player and the two Italian giants could face competition from abroad.

Manchester United are mentioned as possible suitors in the report, whilst La Gazzetta dello Sport claims Inter are preparing to launch an offer to help replace Barcelona bound Lautaro Martinez.

The Blaugrana have not kept their interest in the Argentine 22-year-old a secret and are pushing for a transfer this summer.

Inter are therefore looking for a suitable replacement and reportedly push for Chiesa to partner Romelu Lukaku at the Giuseppe Meazza next season.

In that case, the Nerazzurri must, according to both reports, be prepared to pay the full required amount for the Italy international.
