Fiorentina will reportedly meet Arsenal in the coming weeks to discuss a permanent move for Lucas Torreira.
The former Sampdoria man joined the Artemio Franchi side on loan with an option to buy last summer.
The 25-year-old has played 13 games under Vincenzo Italiano this season and according to Il Corriere Fiorentino, the Tuscans are determined to make his move permanent.
La Viola can sign Torreira on a permanent deal for €15m and the club’s executives will soon hold talks with the Gunners to discuss a permanent transfer for the Uruguay international.

Torreira struggled with playing at Arsenal and Atletico Madrid, where he played on loan in 2020-21.
Fiorentina coach Italiano is pleased with the player’s performances and considers him a key player for the team.
Arsenal and Fiorentina have also been in contact for Dusan Vlahovic, who has emerged as the Gunners’ priority to strengthen their attack.
However, the 21-year-old doesn’t seem willing to move to the Emirates Stadium and is waiting for offers from other clubs.
