Serie A clubs continue to monitor Donny van de Beek and Diogo Dalot as Ralf Rangnick admits a few Manchester United players could leave on loan in January to get more playing time.

Van de Beek has been linked with Juventus and Inter and was expected to leave Old Trafford had Ole Gunnar Solskjaer had stayed at Old Trafford.

The Dutch midfielder played just four minutes in Rangnick’s first Premier League match in charge of Man United last week, so his future at the club remains up in the air.

Raiola provides latest transfer updates on Pogba, De Ligt and Haaland

Rangnick discussed the Red Devils’ transfer strategy for January during today’s press conference, admitting that some players could leave to get more regular playing time elsewhere.

“I’ve got to know them better in this week, I saw most of them play in the two games and had three, four or five training sessions this week, but it’s still too early to speak about what might happen in the winter transfer window,” he said, as quoted by Manchester Evening News.

“If I look at the number of players we have, it’s still a big squad, we definitely do not have not enough players.

“We need to make sure that players want to stay here. If they see not getting enough game time here, it might make sense to speak individually with the players to see if a loan deal might make sense, but right now, it’s still too early to speak about that.”

Dalot won’t become the ‘next Neville’ as Mourinho pushes for January deal

Diogo Dalot is another player monitored by Serie A clubs, especially Roma.

José Mourinho is an admirer of the Portuguese defender who he signed at Old Trafford in 2018.

Dalot spent the last season on loan at Milan and despite struggling with playing time under Solskjaer, he could have more opportunities with Rangnick in charge.

Dalot played 90 minutes against Crystal Palace last week and played the entire game against Arsenal with Michael Carrick in the dug-out.

Paul Pogba is a transfer target for Juventus, but the Frenchman won’t leave in January.

His contract at Old Trafford expires at the end of the season and he could leave the club as a free agent in the summer if he fails to sign a new deal with the Red Devils.

  1. Martial & Van de Beek to Juve please. Can’t make anything wrong with a 6 month loan. Ramsey & Arthur can leave.
