Fiorentina have announced the arrival of Morocco international Abdelhamid Sabiri from Sampdoria.
The 26-year-old had effectively agreed terms in January for a deal worth €2.5m and remained with the Blucerchiati until the end of the season.
He made just 18 Serie A appearances and three in the Coppa Italia last term, scoring three goals and providing one assist.
Sabiri also played in the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, helping his nation reach the semi-finals.
Coach Vincenzo Italiano also named the squad for the pre-season training that will begin tomorrow at the Viola Park, the brand new structure in Florence.
They include Sofyan Amrabat, who has been linked with Atletico Madrid, Manchester United and clubs in Saudi Arabia.
