Sergej Milinkovic-Savic is set to have his medical with Al-Hilal on Wednesday or Thursday after Lazio signed the paperwork, completing his €40m transfer.

As reported earlier this afternoon, the deal was done and only needed President Claudio Lotito to put pen to paper, which he did this evening.

Multiple sources including Sportitalia and Sky Sport Italia confirm it is all agreed and done, Lazio will receive €40m net, with Al-Hilal also paying the commission to his agent.

Milinkovic-Savic is due to sign a three-year contract, with option for a fourth, that is worth circa €20m per season to play in the Saudi Pro League.

The 28-year-old will have his medical either tomorrow or the day after.

He had been at Lazio since leaving KRC Genk for €12m in the summer of 2015 and amassed 341 competitive appearances for the club, scoring 69 goals and providing 59 assists.

During that time, Milinkovic-Savic won the Coppa Italia and two editions of the Supercoppa Italiana.

  1. A great deal for Lazio but is this really a good move for SMS? It will enhance his bank balance but not his career. What a waste of talent. Milan should have bought him. Kezmsn and the rest of his advisory team are shameless.

  2. Guys, the teams did not show enough interest, unwilling to pay aka did not value him enough. He must’ve felt left down(understandably) and decided to give 3 years of his career to 3 generations of his offspring. He will be back at 31 and shut everyone up.

You outsiders do and think what you wish, we understand and appreciate him.
Thank you for your service Sergeant 🤍💙🫡
