Fiorentina will reportedly sign Vlad Chiriches from Tottenham within the next 48 hours, fighting off Galatasaray.
The Romania international had been heavily linked with Roma in January, but opted to remain in London.
According to Sky Sport Italia, a Viola deal for Chiriches is due to be finalised tomorrow or at the latest Tuesday.
It is believed to be a loan for €1m with option to buy for a further €5m.
Galatasaray are also tracking the 25-year-old, but Chiriches would prefer Serie A to the Turkish Super Lig.

He joined Spurs from Steaua Bucharest in 2013 for €9.5m, but has slipped down the pecking order.

Fiorentina need a replacement for Stefan Savic, who moved to Atletico Madrid for Mario Suarez.
They also have to assuage nervous fans after abandoning the Sergej Milinkovic-Savic transfer just as he was about to sign the contract.
