The 23-year-old Croatia international was signed from Dinamo Zagreb in 2016 for €14.5m, but struggled for playing time under both Maurizio Sarri and Carlo Ancelotti.
He has scored one goal in 10 competitive appearances this term, but most of them were off the bench.
