The Madrid President will also reiterate his desire for Ronaldo to publically assume full responsibility for the transfer, should it go ahead.

The former Manchester United forward has been with Los Blancos since 2009, winning four Champions League crowns and two La Liga titles during his time in the Spanish capital.

The five-time Ballon d’Or winner is also now Madrid’s all-time record goalscorer.

However, he revealed in the immediate aftermath of his team's Champions League final win over Liverpool that his future at the Bernabeu was in doubt.

Now, it appears a matter of time before Ronaldo is unveiled by the Serie A champions.
